The Volvo diesels were new in 2003 and still under warranty with less than 250 total hours, the marine gears were also rebuilt. The extensive refit in 2003 included a new bulbous bow, repainting of the hull and engine room, rewiring and new house and starting batteries. Heavy duty stainless steel deck hardware, custom welded stainless steel rails & flying bridge ladder and aluminum sliding safety glass doors. Kobelt clutch and throttle controls at pilothouse and flying bridge, hydraulic steering and full instrumentation for both engines. Standard electrical equipment includes two digital depth sounders (pilot house and fishing cockpit), Scotty depthpower downriggers, two VHF radios, Autopilot, Furuno 24 mile radar, exterior hailer and Navman GPS. Raised dinette with ample seating for six. Salon with a hide-a-bed sofa, which can be curtained off to create a double stateroom Main bathroom is complete with a domestic flush toilet, a vanity with sink and mirrors and a separate fully enclosed shower stall. The spacious galley is equipped with a Dickinson Beaufort oil stove, a microwave oven, a large stainless steel double sink and a 20 cu ft fridge/freezer. There are pressurized hot and cold water systems, and a 2500-watt Trace inverter. Port and starboard double staterooms, each with their own flush toilet and sink. 8-man life raft and 12ft Orca Fishing tender c/w 9.9hp Honda outboard. Interior décor utilizes formica walls and counter tops with oiled oak cabinets and doors, and oiled oak trim throughout. Flooring consists of lino and carpeting and cabin walls and ceilings are fully insulated. Recessed and feature lighting, adjustable custom mini blinds, brass trim and hardware are some of the other interior features. Company records confirm the yacht has been relatively inexpensive to operate and maintain, due largely to the fact it was custom built by the owners specifically for coastal charter work.
Since new the Pacific Lure has been the owners corporate yacht and is not aggressively marketed so it is easy to see how attractive this business opportunity is, especially being able to work alongside a company with a proven track record of 50+ years in business.
